    Superb

The staff were terrific, and the food was wonderful. We stayed in the middle of May, so it wasn't high tourist season, and it was quiet, comfortable and very relaxing. Easy to get to some great places to visit, and the surrounding scenery is breathtaking.

The location of the hotel is perfact. Lovely gardens and views. The owner is very nice and welcoming. The breakfast is excellent and rooms very comfortable.

The evening meal was very disappointing. We had eaten there before and enjoyed it but this time it was a real let down

    Fabulous

It was an oldfashioned house hotel with an athmosfeer. Staff and management were exelent.

the management used Booking. com as an excuse for charging higer rates than other customers

    Superb

The warm welcome received, the classic bedroom with huge en suite and the delicious food. Could not fault anything.

    Superb

It served its purpose as a place of relaxation in old and comfortable surroundings with a very friendly staff

If a room is called a library then it should not be used as a TV room. Despite my removing of 2 heavy blankets and wanting only a sheet in the middle of summer, these were replaced on making up the bed by room staff.

    Very good

This hotel is a little outdated and some of the rooms are very tired. Having said that the staff were very helpful and the breakfast was very good.

The room we were allocated on the first night was very poor. Horrible bed so we asked to be moved on the second night which they did and the second room was much better.
